Corsica Studios in Elephant & Castle will be shutting up shop in 2026Over its 23 years in business, Corsica Studios, opened by Amanda Moss and Adrian Jones, has built a reputation for being one of the best clubs in the city. Corsica Studios is housed in railway arches close to Elephant & Castle station, an area that’s undergone significant development and gentrification in recent years. In 2018 that club received £125,000 by Delancey, the real estate company behind the Elephant & Castle town centre development, for soundproofing. In 2023, planned expansion of the Delancey project put Corsica Studios “under threat”, with Southwark Council offering the venue an alternative location nearby. Sources told Southwark News that year that the cost of relocating, soundproofing and licensing a new space would be “unviable”.
