NATO countries come together to defend against alleged Russian 'serious threat' drone violationsAround 75 soldiers, a warship and other military capabilities are being sent to Denmark to bolster the country's aerial defences ahead of two summits in Copenhagen this week.
France, Germany, and Sweden are all contributing to this effort, which follows a series of disruptive drone incidents in Denmark last week.
Drone sightings wreaked havoc at several airports in Denmark, including Copenhagen airport, which had to shut down for four hours last Monday.
The defense ministry in Paris stated that this is "in response to the recent upsurge in unidentified drone flights in Danish airspace", adding that the drones pose a "serious threat."
Last week, the country's defense minister labeled the drone incidents as a "hybrid attack".
