London group Whitelands have confirmed plans for new album ‘Sunlight Echoes’. The band emerged from London’s DIY community, and their early ultra-noisy recordings soon gave way to shoegaze bliss. Approaching the sound from a distinctive angle, Whitelands’ powerful live shows made them a cult proposition. Debut album ‘Night-bound Eyes Are Blind To The Day’ landed in 2024, but since then Whitelands have been through some difficult times, all while evolving their sound. Out on January 30th, new album ‘Sunlight Echoes’ lands via Sonic Cathedral, and it promises to be a titanic statement from the band.
