LG is getting ready to launch something new for professionals who need the sharpest displays—the 32U990A-S, the first monitor in the world to support Thunderbolt 5. LG plans to release it in late November 2025, with pre-orders starting on October 16. The monitor includes “Live Color Low Blue Light” mode, which reduces blue light output but keeps colors accurate, unlike traditional blue light filters that often distort the picture. For connections, you’re covered: the monitor has three USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 5 support, one DisplayPort 2.1, and one HDMI input. LG’s late November launch will make this the first Thunderbolt 5 monitor available, and it sets a new benchmark for high-end professional displays.
