GMKtec has expanded its mini PC lineup with the global launch of the M2 Pro S, a compact workstation aimed at professionals and creators who need portability without sacrificing capability. At the core of the system is Intel’s Core i7-1185G7, a quad-core, eight-thread processor with clock speeds reaching up to 4.8 GHz. Integrated Iris Xe graphics provide additional performance for workloads such as media creation and multitasking. The Silent mode operates at 28 W for light workloads, the Balanced mode runs at 35 W for general use, and the Performance mode peaks at 40–45 W for heavier tasks. Storage expandability is generous, with one M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slot supporting up to 8TB and one M.2 2242 SATA slot supporting up to 2TB.
