After winning back-to-back Rugby World Cup trophies at the sport’s biggest tournament, their renowned documentary Chasing the Sun 2 was recently nominated for an Emmy Award. Chasing the Sun 2 tells the tale of the highs and lows that Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus experienced in their journey to winning the 2023 Rugby World Cup, which was held in France. Other categories include Best Performing Actress: Charlette Hope (Catch Me a Killer), Documentary: School Ties, and Drama series: Koek. In a conversation with news publication Citizen News, Director of Content: General Entertainment at MultiChoice, Nomsa Philiso, praised content teams for their creativity and storytelling. “We are proud of our content teams and producing partners, whose creativity and commitment have earned MultiChoice a record four International Emmy nominations,” Nomsa said.
