As Obi Ebere Chukwu Health Mission Takes Medical Succor To The Downtrodden(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Health, they say, is wealth, and no nation can be developed, nor rural communities attain its desired goals without a healthy manpower. True to this fact, the Obi Ebere Chukwu Awgu Health Mission Foundation has consistently, through its numerous health initiatives across the old greater Awgu province, brought immense succor to the people of these communities. Also, to ensure that a successful health outreach is achieved, there was the constitution of different committees to help facilitate the smooth implementation. Within the period, an educational initiative, through Essay competition with selected schools from Awgu Town in Awgu Local government area, and Achi, in Oji-River LGA (Alpha Secondary School Awgu, Boys Secondary School Awgu, Presentation Secondary School Awgu, Perfection Secondary School Awgu, Corpus Christi College Achi, Urban Secondary School Awgu, Urban Girls Secondary School, and Rosary High School, Awgu), to further bring these teeming youths from their respective schools, up-to-date on the need for a healthy lifestyle that promotes healthy livingEventual winners of the competition were subsequently crowned at the grand finale, with cash prizes of 150,000, 100,000, and 50,000, respectively to the first, second, and third positions. After the assessment, Master Okoh Francis Uchenna of Presentation Secondary School emerged as the overall best, with Miss Solomon Chiziterem Sharon and Miss Chukwu Nancy Chiamaka of Presentation Secondary School Awgu and Rosary High School, Awgu, came second and third respectively.
