As spotted by Android Authority, the latest Google Home app version (4.0.53.2) references something called "Home Brief." Google has already confirmed it's working on a tool that offers summaries of camera activity and other smart home alerts. The references to Home Brief could be Google laying the groundwork to roll such a feature out to its smart home ecosystem. Details about the Home Brief feature are limited, and all we can see is that it has been mentioned in the Google Home app. However, the fact that it's listed as an intelligent security feature alongside AI notifications and descriptions suggests to me that it's something designed to work in a way that limits the number of useless notifications you get throughout the day.
