Surrey school rated ‘Inadequate’ using ‘robust’ measures to tackle challenges under new head teacher

More infoA Surrey secondary school previously rated Inadequate by Ofsted inspectors has undergone ‘robust’ changes in order to raise its profile.
However, despite work labelled as ambitious by inspectors, the school has much more work to do.
The school appears to have undergone serious changes to tackle its biggest challenges, with newly appointed headteacher Mr Lee at the helm.
Mr Lee was appointed in June 2024, and has since introduced an additional deputy headteacher, assistant headteacher and special educational needs coordinator.
The inspector wrote: “Leaders have worked diligently to ensure that these pupils’ needs are identified accurately.
