Drivers are facing long delays on the M2 near Medway this morning (September 30) following a crash in Gillingham. The incident has taken place on the A278 Hoath Way inbound between the M2 at Junction 4, for Gillingham and Chatham, and Wigmore Road at the Hempstead Valley roundabout. Queuing traffic has built in the area as a result, with hefty congestion spreading back onto the M2 London-bound. Delays of between 10 and 15 minutes have been reported in the area. Congestion on the M2 London-bound has reached as far as Junction 5 for Sittingbourne, Stockbury and Maidstone.
