The Stern School of Business will launch four one-year Global Master of Science programs at NYU’s Shanghai campus starting summer 2026, aiming to make students more competitive in the international job market. Students will split their time between the Washington Square campus and NYU Shanghai, where they can major in Data Analytics and Business Computing, Quantitative Finance, Marketing and Retail Science or Organization Management and Strategy. In a statement to WSN, Quantitative Finance Program Director Jeffrey Wurgler said the program aims to attract NYU Shanghai graduate students and Stern alumni in Shanghai. Students will spend their first summer semester taking 13.5 credits in New York and the remaining time with lighter courseloads at NYU Shanghai. Earlier this year, Stern launched the Master of Business Administration program at NYU Abu Dhabi — the “first-of-its-kind” in the Middle East and North Africa region.
