The government should provide tax breaks for health services that employers buy for their workforce, a business body has said. The call by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) comes ahead of the findings of the government’s Mayfield review into workplace health provision, which is expected to report later this autumn. The employer body also wants to see support and incentives in place for managers in small and medium-sized businesses to access mental health and neurodiversity training. “As a country we need to get behind occupational health as part of the solution to Britain’s work and health crises. Occupational health is a key element in addressing this,” Ash added.
