ChargedEV, part of Northgate, has issued a long-term commitment to support UK fleet and consumer electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The pledge follows the high-profile withdrawal of charge point operators Compleo and Plug Me In (PMI) from the UK market, blaming tough trading conditions EV charging and infrastructure sector. The latter had appointed Compleo earlier this year to roll out a £1.2 million charging infrastructure project. BP Pulse said had withdrawn from the workplace charging market to focus on its charging hubs and its rapid charger network. For workplace charging, ChargedEV provides a full turnkey solution, from survey and quotation to installation and groundworks, plus ongoing maintenance once the chargers have been installed.
