In this discussion, Nye highlighted the benefits of effective data management for fleets transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs). Nye said: “Data really enables fleets to track fuel consumption, energy efficiency, CO2 emissions – all in real-time.”Having a high level of data, Nye noted, would enable fleets to accurately calculate their carbon footprint and implement changes that contribute towards sustainability targets. Using data to transition to EVsGathering good quantities of useful data can also benefit fleets by unlocking a more seamless transition to EVs.
