Opinion: Mixed picture for new and used van markets
[]
News news
After eight months, Ford have registered 5,186 (29.0%) new BEVs encompassing three different product ranges.
The country’s number one van, the Ford Transit Custom continues to sell in big numbers with the prices paid taking into account any mechanical issues that might need rectifying.
Unsurprisingly, average sales prices decreased by over £1,150 in the month to just over £8,000 while first time conversion rates fell 3.4% to 84.5% overall.
Year-on-year sales are down 1.4% on August last year, whilst average sales prices up 14.5%.
The 4x4 pick-up sector took 9.4% of the market – an increase of 1.7%, but commanded the highest average sales price at nearly £13,387, up over 1.4% on July.
