Element 2 has placed an order with French manufacturer HRS (Hydrogen Refuelling Solutions) for a hydrogen refuelling station, which will be deployed in Glasgow, Scotland. The order builds on the partnership between the two companies, following Element 2’s purchase of an HRS station for its Teesside Airport site in 2024. The new HRS14 station has a refuelling capacity of 14kg/hour and offers both 350 bar and 700 bar refuelling. “With a fleet of more than 250 vehicles, Russell’s represents exactly the kind of operator that can showcase hydrogen’s potential at scale – and this project will give them, and others, a seamless first experience of hydrogen refuelling. “After Teesside, it is now Glasgow that will host a mobile HRS14 station, deployed with Russell Logistics,” he added.
