House of the Dragon obviously didn't have an eligible season prepared to compete, and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has still been awaiting an official release date after being pushed back from a release sometime this year. While official announcements have yet to be made about release dates for both shows (House of the Dragon season 3 hasn't even finished filming yet! That includes House of the Dragon season 3 and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. According to Bloys, the House of the Dragon season 3 premiere date will "be just outside of" the 2026 window of eligibility. In addition to teasing a release window for House of the Dragon season 3, Bloys also confirmed a release month for fellow prequel spinoff A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
