Israeli cybersecurity startup Sentra, a leading provider of cloud-native data security platforms, has announced the successful completion of a $50 million Series B funding round. Sentra plans to use the capital to accelerate its innovation roadmap and global expansion, particularly as it rolls out new AI-driven data security features within its Cloud-Native Data Security Platform (DSP). The upgraded platform aims to help organizations protect sensitive data in the age of artificial intelligence, addressing escalating compliance and security risks linked to AI adoption in the cloud. Sentra provides automatic data discovery, classification, monitoring, and protection for cloud-first organizations – Sentra finds all the sensitive data and understands who has access to it, how it is being used, and what the data security posture is. Every organization we work with is racing to leverage AI but is equally as concerned about exposing sensitive data,” said Yoav Regev, CEO and co-founder, Sentra.
