Hepatitis: Foundation Advocates Health Aid For Insurgency VictimsFrom Agabus Pwanagba, Jos – Following the outbreak of Hepatitis B in the camp of Internally Displaced Persons from the North Eastern zone of Nigeria, the Chairman of Stefanos Foundation, Mr. Mark Lipdo has called on Federal Government to come to the aid of 45 persons diagnosed with the ailment so as to avoid spread among other victims of insurgency. Lipdo called for assistance for the victims with vaccines who are camped at Zang Commercial Secondary School Bukuru, southern Jos, Plateau State. Mr. Lidpo who was represented Mr. Ayuba Plangji, said, “We have 114 families here with 1000 people mostly women and children, 45 people tested positive to hepatitis B. Speaking earlier, the Interim National President of YOWICAN, Mr. Ekiye Ekiye who presented food items to the children, charged displaced people not to hold grudges but forgive those who turned them into refugees. “We came here to identify with you and encourage you not to give up on your faith in God.
