Thanks to a pair of penalties that erased goals, the Stony Brook men’s soccer team finished tied for the third time this season. Having been shut out in their last game, the Seawolves (2-2-3, 0-1-1 CAA) were once again scoreless through 90 minutes at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium as they hosted the Army Black Knights (3-1-3, 1-0-0 Patriot) on Tuesday. On the other side, a strong defensive effort held the Black Knights to just seven shots, resulting in a 0-0 draw. When halftime finally came, the Seawolves outshot the Black Knights 9-3. Sandy and Guiry each posted a clean sheet, saving three and seven shots, respectively.
