Chaudhry debuted her first novel, “Eternals.”Chaudhry describes herself as “a weaver of words and worlds,” and that is a sentiment she proves throughout the novel. Although Earth is on the list, it is the least of The Committee’s concern because of how “underdeveloped” it is. However, there were moments in this novel where I wanted to scream at Marah. Even though we are in an alien world where things are supposed to be strange and different from what we know on earth, everything still feels human. This novel brought me out of my summer reading slump, and I can’t wait to read future releases from Chaudhry!
