Bath man jailed after parole check turns up meth

A Bath man is facing a felony drug charge after police say he was found with methamphetamine during a parole check at a local motel.
Officers with the Village of Bath Police Department were called to the Budget Inn on September 25 just after 10:30 a.m. to assist New York State Parole.
They were investigating a parolee suspected of drug possession.
Police say 26-year-old Shaun M. Haynes was taken into custody after officers confirmed he had methamphetamine.
Haynes was processed and taken to the Steuben County Jail, where he is being held without bail pending arraignment.
