MONCKS CORNER, S.C. — A man is behind bars after deputies say he filmed himself on Facebook while leading them on a 100-mph chase through Berkeley County.
Sheriff Duane Lewis said Monday that Rashawn Quamaine Scott, 35, of Raymond Street in Andrews, was arrested Friday after deputies forced his car to a stop using spike strips.
Deputies deployed stop sticks to disable the vehicle, bringing the chase to an end.
Scott faces multiple charges including failure to stop for blue lights (second offense), driving under suspension (third or subsequent offense), habitual traffic offender, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
