IEyeNews
The companies aim to deploy their wearable robot, the X-ble Shoulder, developed by Hyundai Motor and Kia’s Robotics LAB, to farming sites across Korea.
On September 23, Hyundai Motor and Kia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the RDA at the Uiwang Research & Development (R&D) Center.
“Hyundai Motor and Kia have long sought ways to support workers across diverse industries, and the X-ble Shoulder is the result of these efforts,” said Heui Won Yang, President and Head of Hyundai Motor and Kia’s R&D Division.
The results showed that wearing the X-ble Shoulder reduced shoulder muscle activation by approximately 22 percent, confirming its potential to alleviate shoulder joint load for farmers.
For inquiries about obtaining the X-ble Shoulder, please visit Hyundai Motor and Kia’s official Robotics LAB website.
