2027: Kukah Advises Jonathan Over 2027 Presidency(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Mathew Hassan Kukah, has tasked former President Goodluck Jonathan to be careful as he considers contesting the 2027 presidential election. Kukah stated this on Wednesday during the Democracy Dialogue of the Goodluck Jonathan Foundation in Accra, Ghana. According to him, Jonathan had the wherewithal to resist the outcome of the election but he rather chose peace, a decision which according to Kukah restored hope in democratic governance. Quoting former Defence Minister, General Theophilus Danjuma, Kukah said: “The voice of the devil is not so far from the voice of God. He said: “I therefore want to end by saying, first of all, it’s a great honor, President Jonathan, for me to be here.
