More than 175 projects were submitted for the festival, including 117 films and 58 scripts, with more than 70 shortlisted films selected for screening. The festival will include six feature films and 67 short films, documentaries and animations. The festival will include the world premiere of 'The Hook', a feature film by Thomas David Beatty, and 'Hide', a short film submitted by BAFTA and EMMY award-winning director Ian Curtis. The festival will also feature local productions such as 'Brewed by the Coast', a documentary short film by local filmmaker Ariana King, and 'Limbo', a film by an Arts University Bournemouth graduate filmmaker. He added: "The film festival is creating a global buzz, with filmmakers flying in to attend from countries including Ethiopia and Japan.
