The funds, aimed at improving the lives of people in their communities, are thanks to a continuing partnership between Dorset Community Foundation and Wessex Water. The Wessex Water Foundation Community Fund is part of a mission by the water and sewage company to support projects that help build stronger communities. Since 2020, the initiative has provided grants totalling at least £500,000 each year across the Wessex Water region. Ellie Maguire, grants manager, said: "The fund aims to fund work supporting people most in need to build stronger, more resilient communities.
