SSAFA has launched its "Big Brew Up" initiative, urging communities to support the Armed Forces community by sharing a brew throughout October.
The campaign comes after research by SSAFA revealed 89 per cent of South West residents are tea drinkers.
The study found 62 per cent believe tea helps with difficult conversations, while 67 per cent say it aids stress management.
Amy Bartlett, head of volunteer operations at SSAFA, said: "In the military, the Brew Up is a morale booster and stress reliever."
More information on hosting a Big Brew Up with friends, family, or within a community group, is available on the SSAFA website.
