The proposals aim to make Victoria Road a "welcoming, accessible and attractive space" to support Ferndown's economy and tackle road safety concerns.
The plans, which can be viewed on the council's website, will also be displayed at Ferndown Town Council's drop-in sessions in the Barrington Centre from Tuesday, October 14.
These sessions will feature a range of designs for street furniture, plants, flagpoles and bollards.
Councillor Jon Andrews said: "We know how important Victoria Road is to the people of Ferndown, and we want to make sure the improvements reflect what residents and businesses value most."
Outdated benches will be replaced, and flagpoles will be installed to create a "vibrant and colourful avenue effect."
