The Secret Fungi Festival 2025 will be held at Carey’s Secret Garden in Wareham from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 October, promising a packed programme of talks, workshops, food and entertainment. Organisers say the focus is on creating an intimate, nature-connected experience, fit for families and fungi fanatics alike. Other attractions include pottery workshops, medicinal mushroom sessions, and a special night-time walk where visitors can see fungi fluoresce under UV light. Andy said: “It’s a mushroom walk with a twist. Around 150 people a day are expected to attend, with no on-site camping, encouraging visitors to make the most of a day at Carey’s Secret Garden.
