As reported, BCP Council lodged a disposal notice for the land, which encompasses part of the current stadium and the car park around the ground. In a report prepared for a meeting of the council’s cabinet this Wednesday, October 1, there are six options put forward. A separate lease would then be granted for the car park, which wraps around the main and south stands of the ground. Terms would see market rent paid for the land only as a ground rent, while the management agreement for the car park would be surrendered. The report will be assessed by the council’s cabinet on Wednesday, before their recommendations are put to full council for approval.
