"I would have thought that pest management authorities would be identifying localities where recreational hunting is reducing introduced animal numbers enough for professional pest management resources to be deployed elsewhere or at least less regularly," he said. "It could save tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars, but it does not seem to be on the radar of the professionals."
