Perth Scorchers have replaced one international star with another, with English allrounder Freya Kemp joining the squad after an impressive home summer.
The 20-year-old hard-hitting allrounder has joined the Scorchers after South African allrounder Chloe Tryon became unavailable due to international commitments.
The WBBL is always such an exciting tournament, and I’m stoked to be part of it this year,” she said.
“I’ve heard plenty about the WACA Ground pitch, and I can’t wait to walk out and be part of what is a high-quality team.
Scorchers high-performance manager Kade Harvey said he was confident Kemp would flourish on faster Australian pitches.
