Social media has been awash recently with comments about the future of two Harrogate district fish and chip shops. Bradleys chippies on Starbeck High Street and Cheltenham Parade in Harrogate town centre have been closed for more than a week. The company took over the iconic Graveleys of Harrogate site in February last year. It already operated the Starbeck site, as well as locations in Northallerton and Scarborough. But the two local sites were closed when the Stray Ferret visited them on Tuesday (September 23) and Friday (September 26) last week, with no discernible signs of life.
