Trigg County scored a straight set win over Murray in Monday volleyball action and reached a four-year high in wins in the process. The Lady Wildcats won 25-19, 26-24, and 25-20 at Trigg’s primary gym, snapping a brief three-match losing streak and a 10-match losing streak to the Lady Tigers dating back to 2018. Trigg County improved to 4-12 – its most wins since the 2021 season and the same number of victories as the previous three seasons combined. The Lady Wildcats will play at Madisonville-North Hopkins on Tuesday. Murray, which beat Trigg County in straight sets earlier this year, fell to 7-10.
