Etsegenet Kedir has a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia) and a Master’s degree in International Human Rights Law from Lund University (Sweden). She is very excited about this internship opportunity at AFJN, hoping that she will gain additional knowledge and practical skills in the areas of advocacy and analysis of U.S policies that impact the continent of Africa and its people. Upon completion of her internship, she wants to work in the nonprofit sector, focusing on public policy, advocacy and human rights to improve the lives and interests of disadvantaged groups of people.
