A 36-year-old Ayr resident has died as a result of a two-motor vehicle collision on Saturday involving a tractor trailer and passenger van in Centralia. Huron OPP were dispatched to the intersection of London Road and Huron Park Road at 5:30 a.m. The Ayr resident was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the other passenger, a 31-year-old from Goderich, was airlifted to a trauma centre with serious, life-threatening injuries. The intersection of London Road and Huron Park Road was closed, but has since re-opened.
