Brian Weiss has been named the executive VP of strategy and business development at A+E Global Media. Weiss brings with him over 20 years of experience to A+E Global Media as he joins from TEGNA, where he was VP of entertainment programming and networks. Now in his new role, Weiss will shape growth strategy and business development across linear, digital, FAST and emerging platforms at A+E Global Media. He will report to Steve MacDonald, president of global content licensing and international. “Brian brings a rare mix of deal-making savvy and operating depth to his new position,” said MacDonald.
