The LEGO Group has announced the opening of a new Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) in southern Vietnam, further strengthening its presence in Asia-Pacific. Covering 16,360 square metres, the centre will process more than 150 containers per week and provide capacity for 33,000 pallets. Kuehne+Nagel will manage end-to-end logistics operations, including transport from LEGO’s Vietnam factory and Mainland China, customs clearance, bonded warehousing, sea freight, and regional deliveries. The Dong Nai RDC has been awarded LEED Gold certification and includes solar panels and smart energy systems to reduce emissions. It is the LEGO Group’s fifth distribution centre worldwide and the second in Asia-Pacific, after Shanghai.
