The problem is, for much of the last two seasons, Senga has been off. On Monday, Mets president of baseball operations was asked if Senga can be relied upon to be the team’s ace in the future. To his credit, Senga accepted the assignment, but he struggled to find a rhythm, ultimately finishing the season in Triple-A Syracuse’s roster.
