Three men were arrested for selling cocaine to undercover law enforcement officers at Sunpie’s Bistro in Steamboat Springs in the early morning hours Sunday, according to court documents. Juan Escobar-Bravo, 24, is charged with two counts of cocaine possession with intent to distribute, and Inmer Martinez-Lopez, 22, is charged with one count of cocaine possession with intent to distribute. While the deputy was undercover, Escobar-Bravo “engaged” in “small talk that led to (Escobar-Bravo) selling suspected cocaine” to the deputy just after 9 p.m., states the affidavit. After the deputy purchased the alleged cocaine, he met up with another undercover deputy outside of O’Neil’s Tavern & Grill across the street. The same undercover deputy went back to Sunpie’s Saturday night, where Escobar-Bravo allegedly sold the deputy 3 more grams of cocaine.
