“No prior firefighting experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support throughout the learning process,” said Columbia Valley Rural Fire and Rescue Service Chief Drew Sinclair.
“Members of our department receive on-call compensation and eligibility for extended benefits, while experiencing the rewarding knowledge that you are helping your community in times of need,” said Elk Valley & South Country Rural Fire and Rescue Service Deputy Chief Ben Goertzen.
Interested applicants can visit the RDEK website to complete an application form or collect one at their local Fire Hall.
