KAMSACK — Everyone is being invited to James Rudd Memorial Fire Hall in Kamsack on Oct. 13 to enjoy a pancake breakfast, while helping to celebrate 70 years that the Kamsack fire department has been supporting Muscular Dystrophy Canada. This fire department began supporting muscular dystrophy in 1955, said Ken Thompson, fire chief. The breakfast, free of charge, is to be prepared and served by firefighters. There will be a jar for a silver collection for muscular dystrophy. “Firefighters are part of Muscular Dystrophy Canada’s DNA,” said information on the organization’s webpage.
