Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson was “banged up” after being involved in a car accident in Denver, Colorado, her mother, June “Mama June” Shannon confirmed on September 26. Shannon, 46, took to Instagram to post a video explaining that she was on the way to see Thompson, 20, after the accident. She told the camera that Thompson was T-boned by a 23-year-old man when she was pulling out of the driveway of her Denver home. After she noted that “Alana is fine,” Shannon continued, “She was hit on the driver’s side of her car. While Shannon currently lives in Georgia, Thompson is living in Denver as she studies pediatric nursing at Regis University.
