Italian/Norwegian prog metal virtuoso Demetrio “Dimitry” Scopelliti is set to release his new album, The Revolution of Evolution, on September 21st via FusionCore Records. The Revolution of Evolution also features contributions from Jay Parmar, who delivers guest solos on “Pulse” and “Magnolia Ave.” The album’s artwork and logo were created by Mark Bridgeman, with photography by Kai Hansen. Ten tracks of instrumental prog metal that represent three years of creative evolution, with every instrument performed and produced by myself. The title completes a cycle that began with my first EP “Evolution” in 2008 – this album represents the final chapter of that journey. Beyond the personal evolution, the title also reflects on contemporary social themes: the unnecessary and potentially risky overuse of AI, cyber media, and information overload in our modern world.
