Celeste Rivas Hernandez, the 15-year-old girl found dead in the trunk of popular singer D4vd’s car, was likely dead for several weeks before police found her decomposing body in a Hollywood tow yard, police said Monday, Sept. 29. The cause of Rivas Hernandez’s death remains under investigation weeks after police found her dismembered body in the front trunk of a Tesla registered to David Anthony Burke, known as D4vd, on Sept. 9, a day after her 15th birthday. She was previously reported missing from Lake Elsinore last year, when she was 13. While there, staff and neighbors reported a strong smell coming from the car before Rivas Hernandez’s remains were found in a bag in the trunk. A representative for the singer has said he is fully cooperating with the investigation into her death.
