Megadeth has been hard at work on their upcoming 16th studio album, and now we have a new update on the release, as well as a tentative title. During this past Saturday’s ‘Rock And Roll Fantasy Camp’ masterclass (recorded by an attendee and posted to Reddit), frontman Dave Mustaine revealed that the tentative title for the new album will be The Sick, The Dying And The Dead. What you can hear gives the impression that the song is going to be heavy, fast and loud. Back in December, Megadeth bassist David Ellefson told SiriusXM’s ‘Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk’ that recording for the album was moving along at a decent clip. “Dirk [Verbeuren, drums] and I did our stuff back in May and June, and then Dave and Kiko [Loureiro, guitar] were laying guitars down, and then over to vocals, and et cetera, et cetera.”According to Mustaine, the songs on the new album are going to be some of the band’s best.
