Elizabeth “Beth” Healey, 83, of Princeton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, at the Merwick Care and Rehabilitation Center in Plainsboro.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1942, Beth grew up in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
She dedicated 49 years of her career to teaching as a professor of history at the Community College of Philadelphia, retiring in 2018.
A proud Princeton resident since 1976, Beth quickly grew to love the community and became deeply involved in local politics.
She was an active member of the Wellesley College Alumnae Association, the American Federation of Teachers, the Princeton Community Democratic Organization (PCDO), and St. Paul’s Church in Princeton.
