instantprint invests in high-speed wire bindingA South Yorkshire print business is boosting production with cutting-edge technology. instantprint has unveiled a £250,000 investment in the RENZ INLINE 500, a fully automated wire binding line designed to accelerate the company’s premium book, diary and calendar output. Capable of producing up to 2000 wire-bound products per hour, the new system significantly increases capacity and enables faster turnarounds for customers. The RENZ INLINE 500 handles formats up to 500mm wide, punches through up to 4.5mm thickness and binds up to 15mm wire, with touch-screen controls and Quick Size Adjustment technology reducing job changeover times to as little as five minutes. Following instantprint’s recent £8 million expansion into large-format printing, the upgrade forms part of the firm’s broader technology and sustainability strategy.
