Hearing rescheduled for man accused in Benicia shopkeeper’s killing
['Richard Bammer']

A 24-year-old Solano County man accused of fatally shooting a Benicia market owner in 2022 once again had his hearing on motions and a trial setting vacated and rescheduled in Solano County Superior Court in Vallejo.
Another defense attorney, Tim Pori, did not appear in court for the morning proceeding.
He is charged with killing Bahadur Singh, 60, the longtime owner of the Rose Market, on March 8, 2022.
Dubuisson faced a preliminary hearing on March 4, 2023, and was held to answer on June 24.
Jail records suggest that Dubuisson apparently eluded law enforcement for several days after the shooting, but Benicia police officers finally arrested him on March 11 in the 3600 block of Broadway.
